The new Kessler Mountain Regional Park recently, and it will have an amazing impact on our city for generations to come.

The new park is just off of Cato Springs road in south Fayetteville and plans to be an epicenter for sports and activities. It’s 200 acres already boasts 6 full-size lighted soccer fields (each of which can be split into multiple youth fields) and four baseball fields. Future phases of park development plan to include additional baseball and softball fields, new trailhead to the hiking and mountain biking trails on Mt. Kessler, basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volleyball, a playground and an amphitheater. With all of this, the park is changing the game for youth sports and families by providing not only a huge complex for kids to play and host tournaments but a regional hub for family activities that will link our hiking and biking trails to our sports fields.
