Science-fiction fans are in for a treat as Robert Jackson Bennett, the two-time award winner of the Shirley Jackson Award for Best Novel and an Edgar Award winner for Best Paperback Original, will read on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 pm at the Fayetteville Public Library, located at 401 West Mountain Street.

The 2010 recipient of the Sydney J Bounds Award for Best Newcomer will also lead a fiction writing workshop that morning at 10 am. Register online for it.

The Fayetteville Public library will host an event this Saturday, July 30, from 10:30a.m.-12:30p.m., to conclude their summer reading program and to celebrate 100 years of service.
The event will include live music, a juggling act, sponsored food and appearances by Mayor Lioneld Jordan and a representative from the office on Congressman Steve Womack.
