For the second year in a row, Fayetteville was named one of the top five best places to live in America by U.S. News & World Report.
Of course, what makes Fayetteville a great place to live also makes it one of the best weekend getaways! With year-round events, live music and the best nightlife in Northwest Arkansas, an amazing culinary scene, boutique shopping and attractions for all ages, it’s no wonder Fayetteville has been garnering national attention as a travel destination.
Ales & Tails, Fayetteville’s annual crawfish festival, will be held Saturday, April 1, at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
The festival, created by local restaurants Cafe Rue Orleans and Jammin’ Java, will take place 2-7 p.m. — rain or shine! — and feature all-you-can-eat crawfish, potatoes and corn. (Crawfish will be served 2-5 p.m.) Local craft beers also will be available to purchase at the event. Tickets are $45.
