Visitors Bureau Awards 2014 Hospitality Hero of the Year

Visitors Bureau Awards 2014 Hospitality Hero of the Year

The Fayetteville Visitors Bureau honored Randy Coleman, of the Quality Inn in Fayetteville as the inaugural Hero of the Year recipient of its Hospitality Hero program at a luncheon on January 22 at the Fayetteville Town Center.

Coleman was chosen from the 12 monthly winners of 2014 who were honored for their exceptional examples of the city’s ongoing commitment to provide outstanding service to each and every visitor.

The Hospitality Hero program, which began in January 2013, is designed to stimulate and reward exceptional customer service by employees working in the hospitality industry. In its first two years, the program has received over 400 nominations from 22 hotels and restaurants in Fayetteville.

Hospitality Heroes can be nominated guests, customers or managers at Fayetteville tourism industry-related businesses by filling out a Hospitality Hero Nomination Card or emailing the nomination into the Bureau. These cards will be made available through the Visitors Bureau, and collected each month by Fayetteville Visitors Bureau staff members.

Nominations are reviewed and each month a “Hospitality Hero of the Month” is selected. All those receiving at least one nomination receive an Experience Fayetteville lapel pin and award certificate.

As the Hero of the Year, Randy received an engraved plaque and a gift basket featuring tickets to a Razorback Basketball game, several gift cards, a massage to I.M. SPA, tickets to a TheatreSquared production, and more.

Congrats Randy!
