Bikes, Blues & BBQ

A Different Kind of Hog

One weekend each fall, a familiar rumble can be heard throughout Fayetteville as motorcycles descend upon Dickson Street for Bikes, Blues & BBQ. Now in its 12th year, the annual festival is ranked among the top motorcycle rallies in the country.

The first Bikes, Blues & BBQ began as a charity poker run event with just over 200 riders. This popular event has grown rapidly through the years, and the rally welcomed over 400,000 people and more than 100,000 bikes in 2010.

Arriving on two wheels isn’t the only way to appreciate this family-friendly gathering. The official Arkansas State BBQ Championship, terrific bands and a variety of vendors are just a few other ways to enjoy the weekend.

And, as the country’s largest non-profit rally, the good times at Bikes, Blues & BBQ are all for a good cause. In 2010 alone, over $150,000 was given to local charities and more than $500,000 has been donated to local organizations since 2000.
