Frost Fest is set to take place on Saturday, February 4 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in Fayetteville, AR and it’s an outdoor beer festival that you won’t want to miss!
The festival features over 25 breweries, some of which are on the Fayetteville Ale Trail, as well as other breweries from Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. It is a great chance to come out and taste local brews that you may not have had before and to connect with brew masters. You can see a list of participating breweries here.
Nick Shoulders has a thing for junk - be it wood scraps, rusted metal, aluminum cans, discarded plastic. For Shoulders, it’s not just trash; it’s a story, an archeological find that wants to live again. So what’s he doing with it all? He’s creating something...big.
“I’m building these trash altars out of found objects and weird, old hobo stuff I’ve found out in the woods,” he said while piecing together tall logs outside of his girlfriend’s house. “I’ve been collecting bottles and old scraps. You know just junk. Now I’m building installation sculptures with it.”
