Downtown Fayetteville Coalition (DFC) invites you downtown as we unveil a new way to experience Lights of the Ozarks, the 30-year-old holiday light display and celebration in the historic Fayetteville Square. Join us as we transform our historic square into a car free, pedestrian paradise on Friday nights in December.
This Lights of the Ozarks Open Streets event is a free and open to the public celebration of community, local business, and the holiday spirit. It’s a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to shop local and enjoy the enchanting festive atmosphere while strolling the car-free streets. All people, bikes, and roller skates are welcome!
Visitors can enjoy a variety of holiday festivities on these Open Street Car-Free Nights including:

Join the School of Art for the first annual school-side Winter Art Market on Dec. 9, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Dec. 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and support and purchase art from students and student organizations! The Winter Art Market will be held at the Studio and Design Center in the Windgate Art and Design District at Hill Ave. and MLK Blvd in south Fayetteville.
