Join Berni Kurz, Director of Horticulture at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, in the greenhouse as he demonstrates his winter seed sowing process. Learn when to start seeds, when to start sowing, and the death of seeds. Berni will walk you through the greenhouse to see the germination process, and discuss the temperature requirements and light requirements needed for successful winter seed sowing. There will be time for a short Q & A at the end of the class with Berni.

Join Molly Jones, Education Program Manager at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, as she discusses the formation of different types of crystals and where you can find them in Arkansas. Molly will demonstrate the techniques to locating and cracking open geodes of different sizes. End the class with sensory play digging in bins for crystals to take home, and take home a crystal growing kit to create your very own geode!
